Dear microscopists,

We are thrilled to invite you to the 30 ^th Meeting of the Brazilian Society for Microscopy and Microanalysis (30 ^th CSBMM), taking place in Maceió, Alagoas, from November 16 ^th to 19^th, 2025. Organized by the Brazilian Society of Microscopy and Microanalysis (SBMM) , this event is dedicated to sharing knowledge and advancing in microscopy and microanalysis, fostering scientific and educational growth in Brazil. As the major microscopy and microanalysis event in Latin America, the CSBMM has consistently contributed to the progress of science, technology, and innovation in Brazil and abroad. This year’s meeting will provide a dynamic platform for presenting groundbreaking research, addressing current challenges in the field, and exploring innovative approaches to professional training and application in microscopy and microanalysis.

The CSBMM has a long-standing legacy of impactful contributions, including expanding scientific outreach and engagement, highlighting microscopy and microanalysis as indispensable tools for research and technological development, integrating their outcomes as benchmarks for research quality, offering theoretical and practical guidance for their effective use and stimulating dialogue and advancing professional education in the field. This event is designed for a diverse audience, including undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, university professors, industry professionals, and private sector representatives with an interest in microscopy and microanalysis.

The 30 ^th CSBMM marks a significant milestone in SBMM’s efforts to strengthen connections within the Brazilian scientific community and beyond. By hosting the event in Maceió, we aim to encourage greater participation from researchers and professionals in the North and Northeast regions of Brazil, areas that are often underrepresented in large-scale scientific gatherings. Maceió city, the capital of Alagoas, offers an ideal setting for this event.
